Canon G3 Setups for Macrophotography

Three typical setups are shown. For all, the Kirk flash bracket, Canon off shoe cord, Canon 420ex flash, and Stofen omnibounce diffuser are used.

1. Pentax 50mm attached in the reverse position. Uses the 52mm lensmate, a 52 to 49mm step down ring, and a 49 to 49mm macro coupling ring.

2. Closeup lenses (diopters) followed by the Tiffen 2x teleconverter. Uses the 52mm lensmate, a 52 to 49mm step down ring, one or more 49mm closeups, a Tiffen 49 to 43mm coplaner step down ring, and then the Tiffen 2xTC.

3. Tiffen high powered closeup lenses (diopters) . Uses the 58mm lensmate, a 58 to 55mm step down ring, and a +10 and/or a +7 Tiffen closeup.
